All the Lutheran publishers produce a substantial number of topical books to address specific issues, either about continuing spiritual matters or about socially significant subjects as they arise. They are too numerous even to give a representative sampling here, so we suggest only a few for your consideration. To select topical books for your needs, browse the NPH website, the CPH website, or the other pages of this website. Also consult your pastor for recommendations. Obviously, not all the available books are appropriate for every personal and family situation. If you do not have substantial theological training, it is advisable to avoid books by non-Lutheran publishers, unless recommended by your pastor, as they can lead people into false beliefs by the misuse of the Scriptures and/or of reason.
