Broken - 7 Rules

This page contains two formats to assist the presenter in teaching the material from the book Broken: 7 "Christian" Rules that Every Christian Ought to Break as Often as Possible by Jonathan Fisk.

The first format is composed of 90-minute videos of live class sessions with associated class notes, including reading assignments and study questions. The second format is a more classic presentation with PowerPoint slides and class notes. The presenter should place the dates of the class sessions on the syllabus for the convenience of the students.

Live Recorded Sessions by Arthur Eggert.

This course presents the material from a book that indicts Christian churches in America for giving people rules for finding Christ that are not Christian at all. It discusses Mysticism, Moralism, Rationalism, Pragmatism, Prosperity, Churchology (IfWeCanJust), and Lawlessness (Personal Freedom) and shows that they are all tools of Satan to lead us away from the message that God has revealed in the Scriptures. The book is necessary to understand the course. There are nine sessions which were taught in the fall of 2022. To gain the most from this course, it is recommended that you print out the Class Notes-R packet, do the assigned readings, and answer the study questions for each session before watching that session's video. The class notes contain the syllabus & questions.
