This page contains two ways to assist the presenter in teaching about predestination and conversion using the books from the NPH People's Bible Teaching Series. The first way uses approximately 45-minute videos to cover the material from each lesson, which can be used in a stand-alone mode or as part of a class discussion. The second way is for a more classic presentation with PowerPoint slides and class notes. The presenter should place the dates of the class sessions on the syllabus for the convenience of the students.
Video Sessions by Arthur Eggert.
This course consists of video lectures that present the material from two books in the People's Bible Teachings series: Predestination and Conversion. The books are necessary to understand the course. The course also uses a chapter from the book Creation: In the Beginning and Afterward by Dr. Arthur Eggert, an excerpt from The Bondage of the Will by Dr. Martin Luther, and Article 11 of the Formula of Concord (FOC). The latter three documents are available online (see below). To gain the most from this course, it is recommended that those taking the course print out the Class Notes-V packet and the Questions-V packet, do the assigned readings, and answer the study questions before each video session.
