The explanations that appear on this page are of hymns that have long been used in the Lutheran church and that give a clear presentation of biblical teachings. Most of these hymns were written by Lutheran authors. The explanations were prepared by Benjamin A. Kieta, who has waived the copyright for all the materials on this webpage provided they are used solely for educational purposes.
