Clearing a Path for the Gospel

This page contains two ways to assist the presenter in teaching the material from the book Clearing a Path for the Gospel by Arthur A. Eggert and Geoffrey A. Kieta.

The first uses 30-minute video introductions for the material in each chapter, often two per chapter, with associated class notes. The second is for a more classic presentation with PowerPoint slides and class notes. The presenter should place the dates of the class sessions on the syllabus for the convenience of the students.

Video Chapter Introductions by Arthur Eggert.

This course examines a wide range of situations and manners in which biblical teachings are challenged. It gives the student ways to respond to such challenges so as to remove obstacles to someone hearing the message of the Scriptures. The book is necessary to understand the course. To gain the most from this course, it is recommended that you print out the Class Notes-V packet, do the assigned readings, and answer the study questions for each session before watching that session's video. The class notes contain the syllabus & questions. PowerPoints are included, but not necessary for the course. Teaching notes exist to help the local presenter. There are nineteen lessons arranged by chapter. The nineteen lessons were recorded in the fall of 2023 and winter of 2024.
