Simply Lutheran

This page contains two ways to assist the presenter in teaching the material from the book Simply Lutheran by Arthur A. Eggert.

The first uses 20–30-minute video introductions for the material in each chapter with associated class notes. The second is for a more classic presentation with PowerPoint slides and class notes. The presenter should place the dates of the class sessions on the syllabus for the convenience of the students.

Video Chapter Introductions by Arthur Eggert.

This course presents the material from a book that discusses five major areas of the Christian faith - The Bible, God, Plan of Salvation - Historical View, Plan of Salvation - Theological View, and Life in the Church. The book is necessary to understand the course. To gain the most from this course, it is recommended that you print out the Class Notes-V packet, do the assigned readings, and answer the study questions before each class session. The class notes contain the syllabus & questions. The chapter introductions were recorded in the summer of 2023. PowerPoint slides are provided, but they are not necessary to teach the course.
